A possible BATG2 Reunion?!
I can't discuss too much of the details, but it seems a filmed reunion show for our season of beauty and the geek is possibly in the works. I don't think the entire cast will be in attendance, but a good majority will be. That's all I should probably say until it is confirmed. But it's pretty exciting since we were the only season to not really have a reunion show.
Rumor also has it that there will be a casting special for the fourth season. They are also looking for geeks and beauties for the fourth season, so if you are one, know one or know where to find some, please pass this information along. I will be posting a bulletin on myspace and on this blog about how you can contact the casting people to be on the 4th season. If you are serious about being on or know someone who is, I wrote some tips for getting on the show in a much earlier entry in this blog.

Like..finally! Good news :)
Any idea why only some of the cast will be on the reunion show? Is it their choice or the producers?
FYI: Only anonymous posting seems to be working. Which is probably why everyone's been posting anonymously for the past couple of weeks.

P.S. Would you know if there having trouble casting season 4? The casting call seems to be going on a lot longer than previous seasons.
great questions guys. i just found tyson's entry. for some reason fox decided that commentary from the first two teams eliminated wouldn't be too helpful. it's kind of a weird decision, especially since amanda will be in san diego that weekend and tyson lives in la. i believe a majority of us will be there and i'm sure those who are interested can join in the festivities. i don't know how it'll all work out; that's why i didn't want to post anything til it actually happened.
as for season four, they ask us for suggestions every time. i think the show will tape in the summer again and air in the winter. that seems to be the timeline these days. i really don't know where they are in the casting process. sounds like pretty early in the process. they have people from previous seasons that they didn't take but could potentially take for later seasons as well.
hope that answers your questions. when i find out more, i'll let you guys know. i wouldn't be surprised if they figure things out w/ the reunion/commentaries the weekend we get there. wes is organizing some karoke outing i hear. and i have no idea about the anonymous posting. it made me switch to a google version of the blog, so that's probably what changed. cheers.

I noticed they are showing the casting special here which wasn't available thru "the Net" when ppl capped the show but wonder if we'll get the upcoming reunion special someday.

my uscf is something like 1590 for slow. but i haven't played enough games to really establish a true rating. i also prefer speed chess. i play regularly at north ave beach in chicago. stopped playing tournaments a long time ago. last one i played was chicago open a couple years ago. there's an article in chess life about me from like april of 2006 if you're interested.
I'll have a posting and pictures from our mini-batg2 reunion soon. and before i get the proverbial question, no sarah was not in attendence.
